Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player within the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached the top of the charts at number eighteen places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album the following year. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her streaming smash song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo came from a household of music his mother and older brother are both musicians. According to him, music was a fundamental element of his existence. As a child he learned to play the saxophone and as well as piano and ukulele. At first, he wanted to become an vet but when his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed the direction of his career.
